LONG HARD ROAD

Jason’s debut single released on the 4th May 2019 is titled Long Hard Road.

Raise your head and meet my eyes, tonight.

There’s nothing left around here, this space, its gone, away.

The ash won’t clear, its grey and I can’t see your safe, betrayed by the flames.

As time moves slow and what’s left of our lives, dissolves, to earth and dust.

It’s a long hard winding road,

And the writings on the wall,

So take me with you now,

You won’t leave this world alone.

As the memory of our lives ablaze and burns we lament our sins and pray,

This moment in time we never knew, this day, could take, away,

There’s nothing we can do, nothing we can say, to take, away, the pain,

So go now with the angels, go now and fly away, and leave this place.

It’s a long hard winding road,  

And the writings on the wall,

So take me with you now,

You won’t leave this world alone.

When we find the reason, when we find the place you took, you took, them too,

We won’t come in anger, we won’t come and put the blame, the blame, on you,

We’ll come with love and we’ll come with passion, embrace the time mislaid,

But is it worth the torment why couldn’t you just take, me with, you too.
